The Black School: Magazine, Issue #2 is the outcome of a Black radical reading group designed by TBS program manager Lana Meyon and Andrea Fullington of Black Teacher Griot for the The Black School’s Design Apprenticeship program. Guided by community research, apprentices interviewed community members who are local experts in the fields of Education (Karen “KG” Marshall), Health & Wellness (Mannie King), Self Love (Keya Clark), LGBQTIA+ Rights (Utē Petit), and Environmental Justice (Sage Michael).
